This policy explains how PixMuse collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data of users interacting with the platform. It ensures transparency and compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

This policy applies to all individuals who access or use the PixMuse platform, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

PixMuse may collect the following categories of data:

• Account registration details (name, email address)
• Payment information (processed securely via third-party payment providers)
• User prompts submitted for image generation
• Reference photos you upload (of yourself, of people who have given you permission, or of your products), together with your confirmation that you have that permission
• Support requests and communications

• Device type, browser type, and operating system
• IP address and approximate location
• Platform usage patterns and interaction data
• Session and authentication data
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies

AI-Related Data

• Text prompts submitted for image generation
• Generated images (stored in user accounts)
• Generation metadata (timestamps, model parameters)

4. How Data Is Used

Data collected by PixMuse is used to:

• Operate and maintain platform services
• Process subscriptions and payments
• Improve AI models and platform functionality
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats
• Maintain system security and platform integrity
• Communicate service updates and changes
• Comply with legal obligations

5. Data Protection (ISO/IEC 27001 Aligned)

PixMuse applies security measures including:

• Encryption — All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS
• Access Control — Restricted database access with role-based permissions
• Monitoring — Regular security monitoring and audit logging
• Infrastructure — Secure cloud hosting with industry-standard protections
• Incident Response — Defined procedures for data breach handling and notification

6. Third-Party Services

PixMuse may share data with trusted third-party service providers for:

• Payment processing — PayPal, Razorpay
• Database, sign-in and file storage — Supabase (India and United States)
• Hosting — Vercel (United States, with edge locations including India)
• AI image and video generation — Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini and Veo models)
• Content safety scanning — Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch checks every uploaded photo for adult or violent content before it can be used
• Caching — Redis Cloud (United States)
• Email — Zoho Mail (India)
• Analytics — Platform performance and usage monitoring

Uploaded reference photos are stored privately and are only shown to you through short-lived links. They are used only to generate your images and are not used to train AI models.

Third-party providers are contractually required to protect user data and use it only for the purposes specified.

7. Data Retention

Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to:

• Provide requested services
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
• Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
• Maintain security and fraud prevention records

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

8. International Data Transfers

If user data is transferred outside of India, PixMuse ensures appropriate safeguards are in place to protect data in accordance with applicable laws.

9. User Rights

Users may request:

• Access — Obtain a copy of personal data held by PixMuse
• Correction — Update or correct inaccurate personal data
• Deletion — Request deletion of account data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Export — Receive personal data in a portable format

10. Children's Privacy

PixMuse does not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that data has been collected from a minor, it will be promptly deleted.

11. Changes to This Policy

PixMuse reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
